Features of this build: The vomit point is where the duplicants are suffering from lack of oxygen when they just emerge from the carbon dioxide filled underground farm. Then probably use the polluted water to create the fertilizer. What could have been done: It is probably better to have the toilets and basins build at the extreme sides of the colony for duplicants to clean themselves before entering. Well I have reached cycle 658. But I intend to retire this colony because i have too few food and it seems to be a not-optimised build. I have managed to figure out that I should use natural gas geysers to redistribute the energy to all the plants. The other generators are not really useful. I will probably spend more time on making bristle berries. Someone said on the forum, I should just leave the natural plants alone. We shall see about that. Collecting slime to feed the mushrooms and risk getting sick is a no go for me.
Managed to reach cycle 557 when my duplicants end up with no food and need to run all over the place to get slime. Maybe it is time to farm some puffs for endless slime. I probably reuse the same map since I know where the 2 geysers are. World seed: 1513845703 Here is a reference to a 1300+ cycle base that is self-sustainable. Need airlock which pumps out the unwanted gases to an area that doesn't interrupt the passage of duplicants. Crops need to be planted in a constantly oxygenated room that is closed to compose.
